George began his career in the family-owned business, Barzizza Brothers, where he gained early, hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, customer service, and operational leadership. The company’s eventual merger with one of the nation’s Fortune 500 food distributors exposed George to large-scale corporate operations and reinforced his understanding of risk, growth, and long-term business sustainability.

Following a successful career in the food industry, George transitioned into insurance and financial services, starting with MassMutual Insurance Company. He later spent 16 years with Farmers Insurance, where he built deep expertise in personal, commercial, and risk management solutions. Throughout his career, George has been known for his practical guidance, integrity, and commitment to long-term client relationships.

In 2019, recognizing significant changes in the insurance marketplace and growing client demand for flexibility and choice, George founded Riskbusters Insurance, an independent insurance agency designed to put clients first. Independence allows George to offer customized solutions from multiple carriers—ensuring coverage is based on client needs, not company limitations.
